Illinois Part I
We finally left our house around 5:00 p.m. (5 hours later than scheduled). People kept wanting to look at our house and so we were "kicked out" for around 3.5 hours. We made it to my parent's house after 11:00 p.m. due to a minor detour on the way down. 57 was closed but we only stayed in the traffic jam for about 5 minutes and took the next exit. We used our GPS to find another way home avoiding 57 all together. The good news is it only added 1 minute to the overall trip time.
